Wednesday, 24th April 2024

On 1st January 2024 changes, were made to PRSI which impact ARF and vested-PRSA clients between the ages of 66 and 70. Previously, ARF and vested-PRSA income was exempt from PRSI from age 66 onwards. Now, clients who turn 66 from 1st January 2024 onwards must pay PRSI between the ages of 66 and 70 unless they are in receipt of the State Pension (Contributory).

Irish Life will write to all ARF and vested-PRSA clients who turn 66 in 2024 this week to let them know of this change, and to ask them at what age they intend to claim the State Pension (Contributory).
