Run it for Will: A huge thank you to our broker friends

We were all heartbroken by the sudden loss of our friend and colleague Will Molloy late last year. Will’s friendship and presence is still greatly missed among his colleagues in Irish Life and his many broker friends.

In memory of Will we committed to actively support Pieta and the phenomenal work it does. Our ambition is to raise over €200,000 as a lasting legacy to the Molloy family. Already this year, we have supported Darkness into Light, a PGA ProAm, quizzes, charity cycles and golf days to help us achieve our goal.

The final push

Last week we reached out to you to ask for your support one more time as, after nine gruelling months of training, five hardy members of the Brokerage team - including account managers Gordon Walsh, John Corcoran, and John Dolan - ran the Dublin Marathon in Will's memory.

The bodies may be sore, but their spirits are high as all made it to the finish line in in honour of Will.

Thank for your your phenomenal support

To say that we have been blown away by your support is an understatement. At the time of writing, donations from the broker community have reached the €5,000 mark.

What many of you may not know is that Irish Life has agreed to double any amount raised bringing our total to date to an incredible €10,000.

On behalf of the Irish Life Brokerage runners, a heartfelt thank you for the support.

While the race might be over, you can still show your support for the runners, and the extraordinary work Pieta does here. Remember, every euro you donate will be doubled by Irish Life. Thank you.
